Bush v. Bush

Why hasn't anybody in the popular press put together this kind of comparison?

This is another one of those, "That's hilarious!" (laugh until I cry) kind of moments.

By committing our country to years of "nationbuilding" in Iraq, the Shrub is doing exactly what he promised he wouldn't do when he was running for President in 2000.

I suppose the rationale is that 911 changed his mind. (So let's just get that out of the way.)

Anyway here it is. I'm gonna go get a coffee while the high resolution version is crunching. Then it will take a while longer to upload that sucker (it'll be a biggie).

Also note the MP3 of the audio below -- this sounds just as great without the pictures -- and I've also uploaded the uncompressed AIFF file -- so that those of you who are so inclined can do your creative mischief.

Daily Show: Bush v. Bush (Small - 13 MB)

Uploading as of 10:45 am PST: Daily Show: Bush v. Bush (Hi-res - 160 MB)

Daily Show: Bush v. Bush (MP3 - 8 MB)

Uncompressed AIFF file - Daily Show: Bush v. Bush (45 MB)

The Daily Show -- the best news on television.

very funny stuff

It's not just funny, it's true. From Audible.com I downloaded the entire audio from the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd debates of the 2000 election, and it's completely ridiculous to listen to. George Bush does a complete 360 degree turn. The things he derides the democrats for become the basis of his 70% poll figures today. It just shows you how good the GOP's election strategy was.

If Bush did a complete 360 degree turn, he'd be back where he started, Kyle.

ahh yes, but will this ever be discussed in the national media? I think not.

This has to be the funniest thing I've seen all week! I miss getting my news from the Daily Show.

I have been recently looking all over the web for this in a format other than Real Media (Comedy Central only had that). I really want this to get widespread distribution after all of the bullshit about Kerry being a flip-flopper!

Did I already say "THANK YOU"?

Lisa Rein, You are my new best friend. Thank you.

Excellent i love that movie haha, and ignore the fools talking trash they're just dumb.

That was hilarious. You gotta give Jon Stewart his due. I'm voting for Bush, but funny is funny. I hope nobody gets their "news" solely from the Daily Show.

And yes, John Kerry tries to have it both ways with regards to Iraq. Listen to this:
That is also hilarious.

Aww, get over it. Bush won this election. Theres nothing you can do about it.
